This session will focus on finding free open source course materials in a variety of disciplines. Instructors can find lectures, handouts, and presentations to use in their classes, which can free up classroom time for active learning and discussion.

Library reserves are changing!  Learn how Moodle. changes in copyright, and VitCat are changing the face of library reserves for the better.

Today, Wednesday, October 10 at noon in the Learning Commons.

Stop by the Learning Commons at 12:00 p.m. for the first Learning & Fellowship session of the year.  Jennifer Nelson will demonstrate VitCat and lead you through the new catalog’s power searching tools which allow you to find books, ebooks, articles and audiovisual materials all from one convenient tool.

The Learning and Fellowship Series is back again for Spring 2012!  The first session is today (February 3) at noon and Jennifer Nelson will be presenting Link to Full Text: The new Link Resolver and Catalog Search tools that get you full text faster.

The next session will be March 16, 12:00 p.m. and Gretel Stock-Kupperman will be discussing Coypright and Classroom Use.

The third session will be April 19, 3:30-4:30p.m.  Kim Olson-Kopp and Jennifer Nelson will present Enhance Teaching with Online Collaboration Tools.
