The library has a fantastic crew of student workers, some of whom are graduating this spring. We’ll be spotlighting our seniors on the blog over the course of the semester.

Marysa is from Montevideo, MN. Her major is Vocal Performance. Marysa went to Florence, Italy for a summer opera program and traveled Europe. She has worked at the library for 4 years. What does Marysa like about working in the library? She likes that we have a good selection of books and recordings so close by, and she likes shelving! She said, “Oddly enough, I find it relaxing!!”

She will be attending grad school at Wichita State University.

Marysa is modest, but we found out other things about Marysa and want to share them with you:

We are especially proud that Marysa was selected by audition to sing a solo in the London production of Handel’s Messiah.
She was in the cast of Viterbo University’s production of Giacomo Puccini’s “Gianni Schicchi”.
She was Entertainment Editor for the Lumen

Thank you, Marysa for being a great addition to our evening crew and good luck at Grad School!

Good luck Marysa!
